“Saya minta maaf kerana menyentuh sensitiviti penonton. Apa yang saya boleh katakan untuk naskhah seterusnya saya akan pilih yang terbaik dan lebih elok, insya-Allah.
“Apabila isu terbabit tular, saya terima dengan seadanya sahaja, bahkan sejujurnya pada peringkat awal saya akui berat hati untuk lakonkan babak itu,” katanya selepas tayangan filem Pendekar Awang: Darah Indera Gajah, di sini, hari ini.
Menurutnya, dia hanya menyedari kewujudan babak yang disifatkan sesetengah pihak berunsur lucah serta jalan cerita drama berkenaan seminggu selepas menandatangi kontrak.
“Waktu saya terima tawaran tidak tahu lagu skrip bagaimana. Saya cuma terima skrip seminggu selepas menandatangani perjanjian dengan produksi.
“Selepas itu ada perubahan skrip termasuk ketika penggambaran berlangsung, bahkan draf jalan cerita juga berubah mengikut kesesuaian.
“Saya tahu tajuk, kesimpulan drama dan barisan pelakon, selain perlu melaksanakan adegan seperti di dalam skrip kerana semua sudah tertulis dalam kontrak.
“Sebagai orang baharu saya kena akur, enggan nanti dicop besar kepala,” ujarnya.
Menurut Kosmo, sementara itu, mengenai respon keluarga, Amir menjawab ibu bapanya memberi keizininan dan menganggap itu sebahagian daripada kerjayanya.
