PETALING JAYA – Pelakon Farid Kamil mengakui pengalaman memiliki berat badan hampir 100 kilogram (kg) membuatkan dirinya mengalami kesukaran untuk bergerak dan berasa mudah penat.
Kata Farid atau nama penuhnya Farid Kamil Zahari, 43, situasi sebegitu pertama kali dialaminya demi menjayakan watak dalam filem Baran.
Dalam filem itu pengarah (Joel Soh) meminta saya untuk menambah berat badan sehingga 97kg. Dia tidak mahu melihat saya memiliki tubuh badan sasa.
“Biasanya berat badanya saya sekitar 82kg, jadi ini pertama kali saya memiliki berat badan hampir 100kg. Memang seronok kerana tidak perlu fikir diet kerana makan, minum dan tidur saja.
“Saya akui tidak pernah berada dala keadaan begitu, jadi pada awalnya saya berasa cepat penat, mengah, bernafas tercungap-cungap,” katanya kepada HibGlam.
Dalam perkembangan lain, Farid turut mengakui dia gembira dan bersyukur kerana kerjaya dan keluarga dalam keadaan baik.
Alhamdulillah, saya berasa sangat bersyukur dan gembira. Saya sekarang berada di fasa yang sangat bersyukur dan menikmati kehidupan ini dengan bahagia.
“Apa boleh dikatakan perjalanan kerjaya dalam keadaan baik, keluarga juga dalam keadaan baik. Selain daripada rasa gembiran, saya juga berterima kasih dan bersyukur dengan nikmat Allah ini,” katanya.
Sementara itu, Farid turut bakal muncl dengan filem baharu, Gold yang menyaksikan penurunan berat badan sehingga 67kg bagi menjayakan watak sebagai pemain badminton Datuk Rashid Sidek.
