Ibu Bapa Perlu Peka Status Kesihatan Anak, Jangan Anggap Remeh

Seremban: Ibu bapa atau penjaga diminta memaklumkan kepada guru atau pihak sekolah mengenai status kesihatan anak masing-masing bagi mengelak kejadian tidak diingini ketika aktiviti kokurikulum di sekolah.

Pengarah Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri Sembilan (JPNS), Datuk Dr Roslan Hussin berkata, dengan cara itu, pihak sekolah mendapat maklumat tepat dan dapat mengecualikan pelajar mempunyai masalah kesihatan daripada terbabit dalam kegiatan berkenaan.

“Apabila kita minta maklumat kesihatan, ada ibu bapa tidak memberikannya, mungkin beranggapan ia perkara biasa.

“Oleh itu, ibu bapa atau penjaga dan pelajar itu sendiri mesti memaklumkan kepada guru atau pihak sekolah mengenai status kesihatan (anak), mereka perlu secara jujur memaklumkan kepada guru,” katanya ketika dihubungi, di sini, hari ini.

Beliau mengulas kejadian seorang pelajar lelaki sekolah menengah di Kuala Pilah, dekat sini, yang meninggal dunia selepas rebah ketika menyertai aktiviti merentas desa, pagi semalam.

Dalam kejadian 9.30 pagi itu, Nuqman Naufal Shamsul Fadzli, 14, dikejarkan ke hospital dan diberikan rawatan, namun disahkan meninggal dunia kira-kira dua jam kemudian.

Timbalan Ketua Polis Daerah Kuala Pilah, Deputi Superintendan Syahrul Anuar Abdul Wahab, dilaporkan berkata, remaja berkenaan menyertai acara sukan anjuran sekolah itu bersama kira-kira 700 pelajar lain, kira-kira 8 pagi.

“Ia membabitkan larian sejauh tujuh kilometer (km). Kira-kira 9.30 pagi, ketika mangsa menghampiri garisan penamat, tiba-tiba dia dikatakan rebah dan tidak sedarkan diri,” katanya.

Difahamkan, guru yang berada di lokasi dikatakan memberikan bantuan pernafasan tetapi remaja berkenaan tiada tindak balas sebelum pihak sekolah menghubungi talian kecemasan 999.
