ALOR GAJAH: Taktik licik seorang pelajar tingkatan tiga yang dipercayai berkomplot dengan dua lagi rakan untuk menipu ibu sendiri menyerahkan wang tunai RM25,000 membawa padah, selepas ketiga-tiga mereka diberkas polis.
Ketua Polis Daerah Alor Gajah, Superintenden Arshad Abu berkata, pada 27 November 2023, suspek berusia 15 tahun itu bertindak tidak pulang ke rumah lantas menimbulkan kegusaran kepada ibunya.
Katanya, ibu suspek yang berkerja sebagai pembantu klinik telah berjumpa dengan rakan anaknya berumur 17 tahun dan dimaklumkan kononnya suspek ditahan di Balai Polis Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.
“Rakan anaknya itu juga memberitahu bahawa si ibu perlu memberi wang tunai sebanyak RM25,000 untuk pembebasan.
“Dalam kejadian ini seorang lagi lelaki berusia 29 tahun, juga rakan kepada kedua-dua remaja ini telah terlibat dan memainkan peranan menyamar sebagai anggota polis untuk memperdayakan mangsa.
“Pada 29 November 2023, mangsa telah pergi ke Pejabat Tabung Haji Cawangan Masjid Tanah untuk mengeluarkan wang berjumlah RM25,000 dan diserahkan secara tunai kepada suspek berusia 17 tahun itu,” katanya kepada pemberita di sini, semalam.
Tambah Arshad, anak wanita berumur 58 tahun itu telah pulang ke rumah pada 30 November 2023.
Jelasnya, ketiga-tiga suspek akan didakwa di Mahkamah Majistret, Alor Gajah hari ini.
“Selepas anaknya pulang, mangsa membuat semakan di balai polis melalui adik iparnya dan hasil semakan mendapati tiada sebarang tangkapan dibuat ke atas suspek.
“Dalam perkara ini mangsa mengesyaki dirinya telah ditipu dengan rakan anaknya dan telah membuat laporan polis pada 2 Disember 2023.
“Polis menahan ketiga-tiga suspek bagi membantu siasatan mengikut Seksyen 420 Kanun Keseksaan dibaca bersama Seksyen 109 kanun sama,” ujarnya.
