NEW DELHI – Seorang budak perempuan berusia 12 tahun di India maut selepas terjatuh dari tingkat 15 sebuah bangunan pangsapuri setelah menyatakan keengganan untuk pergi ke kelas tuisyen.
Laman berita Ary News melaporkan hari ini bahawa kejadian itu berlaku di bandar Hyderabad. Gadis tersebut merupakan pelajar Kelas 6 yang bersekolah di Tellapur.
Ibu bapa mangsa dikatakan telah mendaftarkan kelas tuisyen matematik untuknya yang dijadualkan pada setiap hari dari pukul 5 hingga 6 petang di tingkat 15 sebuah pangsapuri.
Pada petang Jumaat lalu, selepas pulang dari sekolah kira-kira pukul 3.30 petang (waktu tempatan), mangsa menyatakan rasa berat hati untuk menghadiri kelas tuisyen.
Walaupun enggan, ibu bapanya mendesak dia pergi belajar dan membawanya meninggalkan apartmen mereka pada pukul 4.50 petang (waktu tempatan).
Bagaimanapun, mangsa akhirnya terjatuh dari balkoni koridor sebelum sempat menghadiri kelas tuisyen tersebut.
Dia dibawa ke hospital sebelum disahkan meninggal dunia akibat kecederaan yang dialami.
