SHAH ALAM, 21 November- Polis menahan dua lelaki dan merampas dadah disyaki jenis methamphetamine sebanyak lebih 191 kilogram dianggarkan bernilai RM6.32 juta di Bukit Puchong pada 12 November lalu.
Timbalan Ketua Polis Selangor Datuk S. Sasikala Devi berkata kedua-duanya masing-masing berumur 32 dan 36 tahun berperanan sebagai penghantar (transporter) menerima bayaran antara RM5,000 hingga RM7,000 setiap seorang untuk sekali penghantaran.
“Dua individu itu ditahan di Bukit Puchong di dalam sebuah kereta pada 7.30 malam dan soal siasat terhadap kedua-dua mereka membawa kepada penemuan dadah seberat 191,516 gram di dalam kenderaan lain, sebuah Ford Ranger yang diletakkan 15 meter dari lokasi mereka ditahan.
“Ketika diperikasa, polis menemui lapan bungkusan guni pelbagai warna dan didalamnya terdapat 190 bungkusan plastik berwarna hijau yang dilabel teh cina berrulis Guanyinwang Refined Chinese Tea, masing-masing mengandungi di dalamnya bungkusan olastik lutsinar bahan disyaki dadah methamphetamine,” katanya.
Turut disita kenderaan Perodua Alza dinaiki suspek.
Sasikala Devi berkata siasatan terhadap mekanik dan pekerja buruh itu mendapati mereka yang mendakwa baru kali pertama melakukan jenayah berkenaan memperoleh bekalan dadah dari negara di utara tanah air dan dibawa masuk melalui Pantai Timur dan disimpan di Lembah Klang sebelum dihantar ke Kedah.
Beliau berkata kedua-dua suspek juga didapati positif dadah dan mempunyai pelbagai rekod jenayah dan kes dadah lampau.
Katanya, kedua-dua lelaki berkenaan direman hingga 22 November dan kes disiasat mengikut Seksyen 39B Akta Dadah Berbahaya 1952 yang memperuntukkan hukuman gantung sampai mati atau penjara seumur hidup atau 15 sebatan, jika sabit kesalahan.
